Dr. Saad K Al-Agba
Saad Al-Agba started his medical journey in Bagdad, Iraq in 1960 at the University of Bagdad Medical School. He trained at the University of Sheffield in England and also at the University of London, England. Dr. Saad interned at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois then performed two years of Pediatric Residency at Nassau County Hospital, Long Island, New York. The last year of Dr. Saad Al-Agba’s residency, he was appointed Chief Resident in Pediatrics. In 1969-1970 Dr. Saad was a Senior Fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology. In 1970 he became a Clinical Instructor in Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Washington Medical School.
Dr. Saad came to Bremerton WA in private practice in 1971 until 1986 when he moved his practice to Silverdale, WA.
In 2002, he and his daughter, Dr. Niran Al-Agba, teamed together to form Silverdale Pediatrics where they currently practice. Together they have more than 60 years experience in pediatric medicine. Dr. Saad has been married close to fifty years. He and his wife have 3 grown children and four grandchildren. “Pappa” as he is affectionately called by his grandkids has always loved children, his own and others’.
Although Dr. Saad will stay late in the office seeing ill patients, he also loves tennis and world travel.
